Bimla ji, a frail and elderly woman of 80 years, and her 48-year-old daughter, are struggling to make ends meet in their small jhuggi in Jhangurpuri. Despite their efforts, they are unable to work and are forced to rely on a meager pension of ₹2,500 per month. The weight of their struggles is evident in their worn-out faces and frail bodies. Bimla ji's eyes, once bright and full of life, now dimly shine with a glimmer of hopelessness. Her aged body, weakened by time, can no longer support her to walk without aid. Yet, she can't afford a simple walking stick to lean on. The pain and helplessness in her eyes are a testament to the harsh reality she faces every day. Her daughter, too, bears the scars of a life marred by struggles. Divorced and without a source of income, she is forced to rely on her mother's meager pension to survive. The weight of her responsibilities, coupled with the trauma of her past, has taken a toll on her mental and physical health. Together, they face a daily struggle to make ends meet, their lives a constant battle against poverty, hunger, and despair. Their story is a heart-wrenching reminder of the countless women who suffer in silence, their voices unheard, their pain unnoticed. Let us come together to bring hope and light into their lives, to ease their struggles, and to restore their dignity.
