About the Beneficiary

Hrithik, a 15 year old child, is suffering from thyroid from past 6 years and is in urgent need of financial assistance for his thyroid medication. His family is facing severe financial hardship, making it impossible for him to afford the medicines required to manage his condition. Hrithik’s father is elderly and unable to work, while his mother is a housewife. The family’s only source of income was Hrithik’s brother, who tragically lost both his legs in a road accident, leaving the household with no one to earn an income. With no financial support and rising medical expenses, Hrithik is struggling to maintain his health. Any help in providing for his thyroid medication would be a tremendous relief for him and his family.

About the volunteer

Hi I’m Sarthak Chopra student of B.A. (Hons) Social work. I would like to introduce myself as an intern at Sampark Sathi Foundation (since 3 months) an NGO dedicated to supporting those in need. My role here involves working closely with individuals who are struggling to afford the medicines required for their diseases. In addition to this, I am actively raising funds to help these people access the medicines they need for their treatment. Through this work, I aim to make a meaningful difference in their lives by helping them gain access to the healthcare support they deserve. It’s an incredibly rewarding experience, and I’m committed to doing everything I can to assist those who need it most.
