Chandrakanta Ji's story is one of resilience and struggle. Ten years ago, she lost her husband, leaving her to care for their three children alone. Her eldest son, now 18, completed 7th grade but hasn't been able to secure steady work due to his limited education. Her daughters, aged 22 and 21, completed 10th and 9th grades respectively, but they also face the same challenge. Despite their best efforts, the lack of education means they either can't find work or only receive very low wages. Chandrakanta Ji, an 8th-grade pass-out, works tirelessly as a labourer, earning just 5-6 K a month. This income is barely enough to cover their basic needs. The family lives in a two-floor house that belonged to her now-deceased mother, with no other property or assets. With no support from extended family and struggling to make ends meet, Chandrakanta Ji desperately needs assistance with basic necessities like ration. Providing this support will help alleviate their immediate hardships and allow them to focus on improving their future prospects.
