About the Beneficiary

Yashpal Singh is a 65-year-old man who has been paralyzed for five years. His wife, Rajpal, is 59 and works hard to support them both. She earns about 4k to 5k per month but it’s not enough to cover their basic needs. Every day, Rajpal cares for Yashpal, managing both his health and their home. This responsibility is overwhelming, especially with their limited income. Simple things, like diapers for Yashpal, are often out of reach. She worries about how to provide for him and keep their home running. Feeling alone in their struggles, Rajpal decided to reach out for help. She contacted the Sampark Sathi Foundation, hoping to find support. She shared her worries and the challenges they face without any family to assist them. Rajpal's heart is filled with hope and she dreams of a little relief that would make their lives easier and bring them comfort in their difficult times. In her struggle, she holds onto the belief that kindness from others can help lighten their heavy burden.
