Seema Ji, a 40-year-old widow, has been struggling with severe health issues for the past 2-3 years. Coming from an underprivileged, low-income family, she and her two sons are barely surviving. Her eldest son has taken on the enormous responsibility of supporting the family, which includes managing his younger brother's education and meeting their household needs. Despite his hard work, the financial burden on him is immense and unsustainable. Given the critical situation, it is essential that we come together to support Seema Ji’s health. She urgently requires a CT scan, and with proper care and attention, her well-being can significantly improve, bringing much-needed relief to her family. Providing this support will not only aid in her recovery but also alleviate some of the pressure on her eldest son, who is currently bearing this heavy load alone. This assistance could mean the difference between ongoing hardship and a chance for stability and hope for their future.
Hello, this is Archita and Muskan, currently pursuing BA English Honours from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. Our journey with the Sampark Sathi Foundation has been incredible, with each of us completing four and five cases respectively. Initially, visiting the slum areas felt overwhelming and challenging, but over time, we realized the true impact of our work. Witnessing the smiles and relief on the faces of those we helped—knowing that someone genuinely cared—was deeply humbling. That moment of connection, when you see hope light up in their eyes, brings a sense of inner peace and purpose that is hard to put into words. It has truly made us appreciate the power of small acts of kindness and the importance of community support.
